THE ROLE
We’re looking for an IT Help Desk Specialist to support our IT operations.
Bring your sharp eye for detail and unmatched follow-through to our team as an IT Help Desk Specialist! You’ll be the go-to expert for remote hardware and software troubleshooting, keeping our team running smoothly no matter where they are. With your MacOS know-how—covering patching, updates, data encryption, and backup tools—you’ll tackle challenges head-on and keep systems secure and efficient. Your tech skills are matched only by your exceptional customer service, always going above and beyond to deliver an outstanding experience.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure, including managing hardware, software, and networking systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, and Go To Market, to identify and address internal and customer-facing IT and information security needs and opportunities for improvement.
Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
Execute IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems as needed.
Monitor system performance and security, implementing measures to safeguard against threats and vulnerabilities.
Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and user guides.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
WHAT SKILLS YOU’LL NEED
2+ years of proven, progressive experience in IT, as a Specialist or other similar role.
Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking.
Strong knowledge of Apple MacBooks and macOS.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Intercom, and Salesforce.
Proficiency in MDM, SSO, and VPN.
Strong experience with the employee life cycle to ensure best-in-class onboarding and offboarding.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Impeccable problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
BONUS IF YOU HAVE:
Startup company experience
E-commerce or SaaS company experience
Experience with Rippling and similar HRIS systems
Experience with the administration of Rippling, Ashby, Attention, Chili Piper, Okta/Auth0, and Planhat
Experience supporting SOC 2 Compliance policies and procedures
SALARY RANGE: $75,000 to $90,000 annual
