**Summary:**
As an IT GRC Operations Analyst, you will play a vital role in maintaining a strong foundation for managing systems and data risks. You will be responsible for evaluating, creating, and publishing information protection policies and standards and consulting on information protection controls. Your goal will be to work with internal risk partners to ensure accurate documentation of policies and standards. This role requires a proactive approach to continuously enhancing industry knowledge, leveraging a GRC tool for maximum efficiency, and maintaining a high standard of performance.
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities:**
-Develop your GRC, communications, and networking skills within an industry-leading company.
-Work with stakeholders in tech, legal, compliance, and privacy space to understand their services, policies, standards, and controls.
- Evaluate, create, update, and publish IT and security policies and standards in alignment with the latest regulations and authoritative sources.
-Work with a team to implement a defined Process, Risks, and Controls framework within a GRC tool.
- Manage noncompliance issues and make appropriate priority decisions.
-Utilize NM's many opportunities for mentorship, learning, and building community.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in MIS, Business, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Three or more years of experience in information systems or systems audit with a strong knowledge of technologies and processes.
- Ability to assess and implement IT general controls is desired.
- Demonstrated flexibility in managing and prioritizing concurrent assignments to meet changing business needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently identify and resolve critical issues.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to effectively influence and negotiate with internal and external partners.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in facilitating meetings and delivering well-organized documentation. Ability to communicate effectively in difficult and sensitive situations.

Compensation Range:
Pay Range - Start:
$73,150.00
Pay Range - End:
$135,850.00
Northwestern Mutual pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement in the salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment. At Northwestern Mutual, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
