Job Type: Full-Time

About Us:

Impilo is at the forefront of transforming healthcare through innovative technology. Our mission is to empower healthcare providers with cutting-edge solutions that enhance remote patient care, improve operational efficiency, and streamline health data management. We are dedicated to making healthcare more accessible, efficient, and effective for all.

Impilo supports organizations running remote healthcare programs with a suite of logistics and operations services, which we deliver via web app, mobile app, and API.

Impilo is seeking a full-time IT Engineer to empower our IT environment. As a fast-growing startup, we’re in need of a true DRI for the full scope of our IT infrastructure - everything from SaaS vendor management, endpoint deployments, security monitoring, office networking and more. As we ramp up our warehouse volume and update our platform more often, it becomes even more essential to have a top-tier IT backbone in the organization - one that you will build and maintain.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support IT infrastructure, including corporate laptops, office networking, and integrations with our cloud environments.
    • More than just maintenance, we need an IT engineer who cares about the employee experience of using the machines in our office. In this environment, it matters whether our folks have confidence
  • Administer and troubleshoot hardware, software, and SaaS products. This includes the A/V equipment in our office to ensure that both in-office and remote employees can contribute to meeting discussion seamlessly.
  • Implement security best practices, including endpoint protection, access controls, and patch management.
  • Support end-users with IT-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.
  • Maintain IT documentation, asset tracking, and compliance with company policies.
  • Research and implement new technologies to improve IT efficiency and security.
  • Contribute to ongoing certification procedures and audits (e.g. SOC2, HiTrust). This includes reviewing (and potentially authoring) policies and procedures for company adoption.
  • Monitor our endpoint security platforms for alerts and threats
  • Take point on onboarding (and offboarding) of employees from our infrastructure, including building processes for doing so that are fool-proof and efficient.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in IT engineering, system administration, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and MacOS environments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Experience with identity and access management (Okta, Active Directory).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to be present in the Philadelphia, PA office a minimum of 3 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Workspace tools
  • Past experience working through corporate certifications (SOC2, HiTrust, etc.)
