Hexcel is currently seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for our Parla, Spain location.
The selected individual will be responsible for, but not limited, to the following obligations:
- Perform infrastructure maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
- Deployment of operating system security and software updates.
- Configure and install various devices and services (e.g., servers, SAN, other storage, backup, cloud-based services).
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability and provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the IT infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Quality management systems (ISO 9001:2000- EN9100, NADCAP).
- Minimum four years IT Infrastructure operations experience required.
- Candidates with IT experience supporting manufacturing are preferred.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, diagnostic and infrastructure analytics tools required and solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and administration of data center computing equipment and understanding of WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, WINS
