What you'll be doing
- Provide technical assistance, advice, and training to users, resolve issues at the tier one level, and escalate issues to the appropriate escalation team
- Install, configure, and provision computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Oversee deployment and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring optimal and reliable operations
- Manage and maintain company IT assets and systemic inventory
- To be a liaison for the compliance with statutory requirements imposed by Data Protection Act
- Develop the completion of data protection documentation using the Data Capability Assurance framework
- Empower and support buisness groups demonstrating their compliance during audits
- Administer corporate telecom/network systems, including topology, configuration, design, and security
- Research and recommend technologies and best practices approaches for our environment
- Assist with Global IT and Security projects
- Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, VPN gateways, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
- Procure and manage devices, including laptops and other IT assets
- Handle IT asset allocations at the time of joinings and exits, both virtually and in-person
- Create, manage, and deactivate email IDs, user accounts, Office Automation and Security tools
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Lead IT helpdesk to support employees, ensuring all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved promptly with limited disruptions
- Maintain, repair, and upgrade systems and processes, including hardware and software programs
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in IT systems, network administration, and related technologies
- Proficiency with firewalls, SDN, and network routing
- Advanced knowledge of network technology and security principles
- Advanced knowledge of SSO, MDM, and system provisioning in Windows, Mac, and Linux systems
- Advanced knowledge in managing cloud IT services and security.
- Understanding and knowledge of the Data Protection Acts
- Articulate complex data law requirements in clear and user-friendly way/format
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking, and the ability to effectively use computerised solutions
- Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems
- Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration, system vulnerabilities, and security
- Ability to think critically, analyse root causes, diagnose problems, and provide solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and take end-to-end accountability for employee IT issues
- Should be flexible with work from office (Sao Paulo, Brazil)
