As an IT Defense Lab France Engineer, you will join Nokia Defense's Paris Lab team, supporting the deployment and operation of secure cloud and network infrastructures for defense-related solutions. You will play a key role in designing, managing, and enhancing cloud environments while ensuring compliance with strict cybersecurity, military clearance, and ISO 27001 requirements. The role involves troubleshooting infrastructure issues, maintaining and upgrading network systems, and supporting the integration of new technologies. Working with Linux, Windows, cloud platforms, and networking technologies, you will help deliver reliable and secure environments for prototyping, demonstrations, and customer-facing defense projects. ResponsibilitiesAs part of our team, you will:
- Work in team and as individual lead engineer that prepares, manages and supports networking architectures and cloud environments
- Support growth and integration of cloud infrastructures
- Verify and provide solutions for issues in ND Paris-Lab infrastructure, identified within network architectures
- Monitor and plan upgrades for ND Paris-Lab network infrastruture
- Contribute to security documents required for clearance and ISO 27001 certification
You must have:
- Experience in cloud-based platforms
- Linux skills: command line (CLI), user management, permissions, and package managers (yum, dnf, apt). Red Hat (RHEL) and Ubuntu Server are industry standards
- Windows: Knowledge of Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), PowerShell, and core Windows services (DHCP, DNS), Files Shares/SMB, Event Logs Research
Networking skills: TCP/IP stack, routing, switching, subnets, firewalls, DNS, SSL/TLS, Certificates, VPN, WhiteList/BlackList
Nice to have:
- Knowledge about networking for Openshift/Openstacks/KVM/VmWare Virtualization
