Primary Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory
- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data warehousing and business intelligence
- Create automated analytics reports using Python, Pandas, and Azure tools
- Monitor and improve data quality, reliability, and processing efficiency
- Conduct quarterly reviews of department-specific data processes
- Build and maintain documentation for data analysis procedures
- Create training materials for analytics tools and processes
- Collaborate with departments to identify and implement data-driven solutions
Secondary Responsibilities
- Provide basic IT support for office systems and equipment
- Assist with VoIP system maintenance
- Support employee onboarding with basic IT setup and training
- Serve as backup for essential IT support tasks
- Maintain documentation for common IT procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications Data Analytics Skills (Primary):
- Advanced knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory
- Strong proficiency in Python programming and Pandas for data analysis
- Experience with data pipeline design and implementation
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data concepts for non-technical audiences
IT Support Skills (Secondary):
- Basic understanding of office IT infrastructure
- Experience with help desk support
- Ability to troubleshoot common IT issues
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in data analysis
- Experience with Azure cloud services required
Additional Skills:
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Bilingual capabilities in English/Spanish
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Office environment with periodic movement for IT support tasks
- Ability to occasionally handle physical setup of IT equipment
- Primary work involves computer use and desk work
