The IT Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, providing technical support to our HQ employees, ensuring smooth operation of all IT systems. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. Reporting directly to the IT Manager.

About You:

  • Tech-savvy with a strong technical background in IT systems, networks, and software.
  • Proactive problem-solver who enjoys troubleshooting and supporting others.
  • Experienced in both Mac and Windows operating systems.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communicator, able to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
  • Organized with excellent attention to detail and a passion for staying up-to-date on emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for technical support, resolving hardware, software, and network issues for HQ employees, both remotely and in person.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT hardware and software, and document IT systems, network configurations, and support procedures.
  • Create, manage, and disable user accounts while ensuring appropriate access controls.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, perform routine maintenance, and assist with installing and configuring hardware and software.
  • Educate employees on IT security policies and provide training on new systems and tools.
  • Participate in IT projects, support testing and deployment of new solutions, and assist in developing IT policies and disaster recovery plans.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as an IT Coordinator or similar role.
  • BSc/BA/diploma in information technology or computer science preferred; certifications (Microsoft, Apple, Google, CompTIA) are a plus.
  • Experience with Shopify is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with AV systems, including microphones, speakers, projectors, and conferencing tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
