We are seeking a dedicated and experienced network engineer to join our Core IT APAC team. The successful candidate will act as the main technical contact for connectivity, ensuring the availability of ASML services and applications. This role is crucial in providing third-line support and managing all connectivity-related inquiries within the APAC region.
Role and responsibilities- Technical Contact: Serve as the point of accountability for network standards, best practices , lifecycle management for Core IT APAC connectivity to ensure the availability of ASML services and applications.
- Third-Line Support: Act as the third-line support and point of contact for all connectivity-related questions and inquiries within the APAC region.
- Resource Planning: Collaborate with our External Service Provider to predict future growth, understand business requirements, and ensure sufficient resources and capacity.
- Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of the network environment and manage change control processes for Core IT APAC Connectivity services
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
SkillsWork Experience:
- Minimum bof 5 years of experience in IT network connectivity or a similar roles within APAC region
Certifications
- Relevant certifications in connectivity or network management(e.g., CCNP, CCIE)
Technical Skills
- Proven experience in large-scale enterprise network design, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Strong hands-on experience of routing, switching, firewalling, VPNs, and wireless technologies(Cisco, Juniper, etc. )
- Expertise in SD-WAN, load balancing, QoS, DNS, DHCP, and network segmentation
- Proven experience in providing third-line support and managing technical inquiries.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders
This is a permanent position in the IT Asia regional organization. The connectivity Engineer is reporting to the Infrastructure Manager of Core IT Asia and will work closely with business functions within Asia and other teams in Netherlands
