Responsibilities / Tasks
For our location in Parma (Italy), we are looking for a committed SAP Business Application Consultant to help us ensure the best possible process support. The open position is part of the Finance & Controlling team, which is involved in various global rollout projects, as well as providing daily support to our global GEA customers.
In this role, you will:
work full-time in our global Transform 360 project with the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA
work on customizing of SAP FICO
work on Mapping of business processes and optimization of business operations
Support business functions in daily work
be involved in test & training
take active part in data migration, cutover activities and hypercare support
This is an on-site position, with the option to work remotely on selected days, following GEA’s smart working policy. Occasional travel may be required.
Your Profile / Qualifications
What sets you up for success:
Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, IT or related fields
Several years of professional experience in a similar position and preferable practical experience inside Finance department
Solid knowledge of local Gaap and legal requirements in Italy
In-depth knowledge of the SAP ERP system:
System design and visualization based on business processes
Customizing and configuration within SAP FICO (minimum 5 Years)
Experience in setting up Italian local requirements
Broad general SAP ERP knowledge in SAP FICO and month-end closing processes
Strong understanding of integration between FI/CO modules and other SAP modules
Experience with full ERP implementation cycles
Strong skills in English and native Italian language
Forward-thinking, results-oriented, and capable of driving projects toward their goals
Strong communication skills and high intercultural competence
