The IT Project Manager / Business Analyst is responsible for leading technology projects while also performing business analysis activities as required. This hybrid role owns project delivery, stakeholder engagement, business requirements definition, process analysis, solution evaluation, testing coordination, and organizational change management to ensure successful implementation of enterprise technology solutions.


Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation through implementation and post-go-live support.
  • Develop and maintain project charters, business cases, project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Establish project governance structures and conduct regular steering committee and stakeholder reviews.
  • Monitor project scope, timelines, budget, risks, and quality metrics.
  • Drive project execution and ensure successful delivery of strategic business outcomes.

Business & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with business leaders to understand goals, challenges, and strategic priorities.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and translate business needs into actionable project deliverables.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure continuous engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, project updates, and status reports.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Coordinate with software vendors, implementation partners, consultants, and service providers.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals, monitor contractual commitments, and track deliverables.
  • Escalate issues and drive resolution to maintain project timelines.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify project risks, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints.
  • Develop mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Facilitate issue resolution across business, technical, and vendor teams.
  • Ensure project decisions are documented and communicated effectively.

Project Governance & PMO Alignment

  • Ensure compliance with established PMO standards, project methodologies, and governance processes.
  • Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, meeting minutes, and action trackers.
  • Support portfolio prioritization and resource planning activities.

Change Management & Adoption

  • Develop communication, training, and organizational change management plans.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), business readiness activities, and deployment planning.
  • Measure adoption and project success through defined KPIs and business outcomes.

Financial Management

  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Track actual versus planned expenditures.
  • Provide project forecasting and financial reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Experience

  • 5+ years of IT project management experience.
  • Experience leading enterprise application implementations, digital transformation initiatives, ERP, CRM, Customer Portal, MDM, Data Governance, or SaaS projects.
  • Experience managing external vendors and global stakeholders.
  • Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models.

Technical Knowledge

  • Project Management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
  • Microsoft Project, OnePlan Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent PM tools.
  • Business process analysis and requirements management.
  • Enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, Customer Portals, Data Governance, Integration Platforms, and Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Familiarity with IT governance and change management practices.
