Objective of the position
The primary role of the Enterprise/IT Architect is to provide strategic infrastructure technology guidance, roadmaps, principles, standards, and best practices. This includes enabling business and IT leaders to make informed investment decisions that balance immediate operational needs, disruptions, and opportunities with the organization’s long-term strategic vision. The role also focuses on driving enterprise-wide process automation to reduce IT infrastructure labor, contributing to the development and maintenance of technology standards, and ensuring robust information security policies are in place.
Characterization of activities
Provide strategic direction and definition of IT infrastructure architecture to support business goals, ensuring technical solutions are conceptually complete and aligned with enterprise standards.
Analyze infrastructure architectural requirements, lead complex projects across multiple domains, and manage exceptions to infrastructure architectural standards.
Collaborate with global IT and cybersecurity leadership, participate in infrastructure meetings, and contribute to disaster and cybersecurity recovery planning.
Research and recommend emerging technologies to enhance security, reduce labor, and improve cost-effectiveness and flexibility.
Develop, document, and enforce technology standards, policies, and procedures, including information security guidelines.
Support global IT operations, provide second-level support, deliver training, and be available for emergency and on-site assistance when needed.
Education, Experience And Knowledge
A university degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, with 5–7 years of experience in a similar role.
Proven experience in IT infrastructure systems design, development, and project implementation.
Strong technical expertise in Microsoft technologies (System Center, Active Directory, PowerShell) and cloud platforms (Azure & AWS).
Solid understanding of information processing principles and IT management systems.
Flexibility to work across time zones and support global operations.
Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have:
Experience with Cisco products and services.
Familiarity with firewalls and network security.
Exposure to databases, backup solutions, disaster recovery, and telephony systems (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
