We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Technical Lead to join our dynamic team and provide leadership and technical expertise in the development and implementation of complex software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of leading successful projects from conception to delivery.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field as well as equivalent work experience
  • 3 - 5 years of experience managing IT and/or business projects
  • Must have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business
  • Experience working with Java 8 and above. 
  • 7+ years of developing multi‐tier enterprise level applications using Java EE and Spring technologies. 
  • 5+ years developing applications following SOA architecture and RESTful web services using Java EE, Spring/Hibernate, JAX-WS, JAX-RS and related technologies. 
  • 5+ years of developing web and enterprise applications using all layers of Java EE technology stack. 
  • Working in fast-paced development teams following Agile/Scrum methodologies.  
  • Knowledge of working with source control, build tools and CI/CD processes involving Git/BitBucket, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus.
  • Knowledge of working with testing tools like Postman, JMeter etc.
  • Experience in Health care domain is a plus.
  • Experience in implementing responsive design on web applications.
Work Environment
  • Hybrid - Partial, 3 days on-site in Burbank office
  • Candidate location - Local candidates only
  • Interview process - Initial Technical interview (approximately 60 minutes), followed up by Technical workshop interview (up-to 90 minutes)
Preferred qualifications
  • Proven experience in a technical leadership role, with a strong background in software development and architecture.
  • Expertise in software engineering principles, including design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and system architecture.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Angular, JavaScript, Databases) and related technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve common goals.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences .Healthcare experience preferred
  • Working experience in BPM tools is a plus
  • Knowledge in MDM (Master Data Management) concepts is a plus
  • Knowledge in WebAnalytics implementation is a plus
  • Knowledge is Container implementation/maintenance is a plus

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills
  • Data analysis – Must have proficiency with SQL and Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of systems engineering concepts
  • Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
  • Business case development
  • Process flow modeling techniques and methods
  • Experience and exposure to a range of technical environments
  • Strong consensus building communication skills

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $84,100 - $156,100.
