Job Summary:
Oracle Application Analyst will be responsible for the support, enhancement, and implementation of Oracle Applications (E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud ERP) with a strong focus on Latin American local financial, tax, and regulatory requirements. This includes working closely with finance, tax, and business stakeholders across LATAM to ensure Oracle solutions meet compliance needs such as electronic invoicing (e-invoicing), statutory reporting, and tax localization.
What you’ll do:
- Provide functional and technical support for Oracle Financial modules (e.g., AP, AR, GL, FA, CM) with LATAM localization.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle application configurations or enhancements.
- Support local compliance for countries like Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay and Uruguay
- Work with Oracle support and localization partners to manage localizations, patches, and compliance updates.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure month-end and year-end processes run smoothly.
- Create and maintain functional documentation, configuration guides, and user training materials.
- Conduct application testing, user training, and change management for financial process changes.
- Support audits and internal controls (SOX, local tax audits).
- Participate in regional Oracle rollouts and upgrades.
Requirements
What are we looking for:
- 3–6 years of experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (R12)
- Oracle Cloud ERP financial modules is an advantage
- Strong understanding of LATAM local financial regulations and Oracle localizations.
- Functional knowledge of financial processes: accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets, procure to pay and order to cash flow.
- Experience in end-user support, system configuration, and UAT coordination.
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work with cross-functional and remote teams.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL for Oracle Database: writing queries to extract financials/tax data; troubleshooting integration or data issues.
