Job Description

The bank is looking to add a Applications Technical Specialist with strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills to its Application Management Team.  The individual will work with technical and business teams to interpret business requirements, develop custom queries and reports, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide general technical assistance where needed.  The primary focus will be on the bank’s loan servicing applications, specifically LoanIQ, but support of other applications running on a mix of technologies will also be included.

 

  • Work with the application support teams on application installations, configurations, troubleshooting, and testing
  • Support project teams as needed, especially when application changes are included
  • Work with Loan Operations to understand and prioritize requests
  • Provide input to the development of test cases and business use case scenarios
  • Work with Loan Operations and IT to develop and validate business requirements
  • Participate in the deployment of new solutions or enhancements to existing systems
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the other Application Managers and the Production Support Team
  • Interface with vendors on product enhancements and issues
  • Develop reports and queries to meet business needs

    Qualifications

    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Heavy experience with commercial lending applications
    • Strong technical skills:
      • Oracle and SQL Server development
      • Business Intelligence tools, Crystal Reports, Qlik, Cognos, and Datanet preferred
      • Proficient with Windows and Linux operating systems
      • Shell scripting skills are a plus
      • Solid understanding of enterprise technologies including networks, database, web servers, etc.
    • Strong analytic and problem solving skills
    • Experience working with loan servicing and accounting solutions
    • Deep technical knowledge of LoanIQ, including the data model, is required.  Stucky and Banktrade are strong plusses.
    • Practical understanding of commercial lending business (complete life cycle of credit/loan) and operations including the following components
      • Loan Origination
      • Trade Finance
      • Servicing of Loans
      • Accounting
      • Reconciliation
      • Payments
      • Funding
      • Collateral management
      • Regulatory reporting and compliance as related to commercial lending

     

    Compensation:

    The expected annual salary for this position is between $130,000 - $160,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual’s skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness program, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
