We are looking for an experienced .NET Application Support Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting and maintaining client-server applications, working with databases, and troubleshooting technical issues.
About the project:
Our client is a company that operates in the energy trading sector, with a strong presence in regional and international markets, it leverages data-driven strategies and advanced trading models to enhance operational efficiency and maximize profitability.
As part of its digital transformation journey, the company is developing a next-generation Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system to streamline trading operations, risk assessment, and portfolio management.
The project provides an exciting opportunity for professionals to contribute to the full software development lifecycle of a high-impact ETRM system. Team members will collaborate across business, technology, and risk management functions to ensure the system aligns with market demands, regulatory requirements, and business objectives
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for client-server applications.
- Work with SOAP web services to troubleshoot and enhance integrations.
- Manage MS SQL Server databases, optimize Transact-SQL queries, and ensure data integrity.
- Generate reports using Microsoft Report Builder.
- Utilize Infragistics Windows Forms UI controls for desktop applications.
- Ensure proper user authentication and authorization using Active Directory.
- Support and troubleshoot remote access tools.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve application-related issues.
- Ensure smooth application performance and proactively address potential risks.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in application support or development with C#/.Net.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, RDBMS principles, and experience in query optimization.
- Experience in developing and maintaining client-server applications.
- Strong communication and soft skills to effectively interact with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to work under pressure, with strong stress resistance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- English level: B1 or higher.
- Ukrainian language is desirable.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of energy markets and derivative energy instruments.
- University degree in a relevant field.
