We'll trust you to:
- Monitors and tracks incidents to provide quality and timely technical support to our headquarters employees and satellite offices.
- Provides routine support for end users with IT-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Answers, evaluates and prioritises incoming ticket requests for IT service in a professional, courteous manner.
- Troubleshoots and repairs computer systems and peripheral equipment.
- Performs basic computer hardware and software installations.
- Trains users on connectivity software.
- Assists with infrastructure maintenance and enhancements as skills permit.
- Monitors and maintains backup & replication jobs and file recovery as needed.
- Monitors and troubleshoots system health; adjusts volumes and VMs as needed.
- Appropriately escalates unsolved issues to the appropriate internal team
- Provides infrastructure enhancements such as software & hardware upgrades, performance tuning, etc.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
You'll need to have:
- Associates/bachelor’s degree in technical related field or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Windows security/administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Candidate must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others and adapt quickly.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, and/or Security+ certification preferred.
- Experience: 2 - 4 years
