Job Summary: 

Ruggable is looking for a talented mid-level IT Administrator. As part of our growing IT team, you will play a vital role in supporting and troubleshooting our IT systems at our manufacturing facilities and corporate offices. An ideal candidate will be comfortable working cross-functionally and able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as 3rd party vendors and contractors, to achieve results for our team and our customers. 

This role will be a hybrid on-site roll, based out of our plant in Bedford Park, IL for three (3) days a week minimum with some travel to our other production facilities. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Execute the new hire onboarding process to ensure that team members are set up to succeed with technology on their first day (e.g., laptop provisioning, workstation set up)
  • Resolve employee issues via phone call, instant message, and email
  • Provisioning accounts for new users
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting computer systems and networks
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, printers and scanners
  • Repairing and replacing computer equipment as necessary
  • Provides escalated support on and off hours as it relates to job responsibilities
  • Provide support to existing team members to deliver a seamless, productive experience
  • Occasionally provide remote support to end users who are working from home
  • Racking and configuring IT equipment on-site
  • Assisting with overarching IT projects 

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required: 

  • Must be available to work on-site in Bedford Park, IL
  • 2+ years working experience in IT helpdesk or equivalent
  • Experience working in Windows and Mac environments
  • Ability to work on new and interesting issues while maintaining daily operations
  • Able to research issues independently
  • Communicate technical issues comprehensively to a non-technical crowd
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated and driven to resolve tasks quickly
  • Scrappiness and resourcefulness; not afraid to get your hands dirty and tackle problems
  • Travel to other Facilities (up to 4x per year)
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Preferred: 

  • 1-3+ years working experience in IT
  • Experience working in a mixed Mac/Unix/Windows environment
  • Basic understanding of network configurations, IP addressing, networking concepts
  • Experience utilizing RMM/MDM tools (e.g.: Solarwinds, Jamf, InTune, etc.)
  • Ability to manage users and access through Active Directory, GSuite, and Slack

Compensation:

  • $72,000 - $90,000 per year base salary
  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
  • Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
