Job Summary:
Ruggable is looking for a talented mid-level IT Administrator. As part of our growing IT team, you will play a vital role in supporting and troubleshooting our IT systems at our manufacturing facilities and corporate offices. An ideal candidate will be comfortable working cross-functionally and able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as 3rd party vendors and contractors, to achieve results for our team and our customers.
This role will be a hybrid on-site roll, based out of our plant in Bedford Park, IL for three (3) days a week minimum with some travel to our other production facilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Execute the new hire onboarding process to ensure that team members are set up to succeed with technology on their first day (e.g., laptop provisioning, workstation set up)
- Resolve employee issues via phone call, instant message, and email
- Provisioning accounts for new users
- Monitoring and troubleshooting computer systems and networks
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, printers and scanners
- Repairing and replacing computer equipment as necessary
- Provides escalated support on and off hours as it relates to job responsibilities
- Provide support to existing team members to deliver a seamless, productive experience
- Occasionally provide remote support to end users who are working from home
- Racking and configuring IT equipment on-site
- Assisting with overarching IT projects
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- Must be available to work on-site in Bedford Park, IL
- 2+ years working experience in IT helpdesk or equivalent
- Experience working in Windows and Mac environments
- Ability to work on new and interesting issues while maintaining daily operations
- Able to research issues independently
- Communicate technical issues comprehensively to a non-technical crowd
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Self-motivated and driven to resolve tasks quickly
- Scrappiness and resourcefulness; not afraid to get your hands dirty and tackle problems
- Travel to other Facilities (up to 4x per year)
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
Preferred:
- 1-3+ years working experience in IT
- Experience working in a mixed Mac/Unix/Windows environment
- Basic understanding of network configurations, IP addressing, networking concepts
- Experience utilizing RMM/MDM tools (e.g.: Solarwinds, Jamf, InTune, etc.)
- Ability to manage users and access through Active Directory, GSuite, and Slack
Compensation:
- $72,000 - $90,000 per year base salary
- An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
- Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
