ISO 27001 Project Manager (Contract)

As we work toward achieving ISO 27001 certification, we’re looking for an experienced ISO 27001 Project Manager to help us successfully cross the finish line!

The Role

We’re in the final stages of preparing for our ISO 27001 audit and need a skilled contractor to provide hands-on project management and guidance to ensure everything is in place for a successful certification. You’ll collaborate with our internal team, who has already made significant progress, and help us refine and finalize the work needed to achieve compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess the current state of our ISO 27001 implementation to identify any remaining gaps.
• Develop and execute a detailed plan to prepare us for the final certification audit.
• Provide expert guidance on ISO 27001 standards and best practices.
• Ensure all required documentation, policies, and processes are audit-ready.
• Collaborate with team members using Tugboat Logic/OneTrust to align on the certification process.
• Act as a liaison with external auditors, if needed, during the certification process.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and completing ISO 27001 certification projects, including preparing for and successfully navigating the audit process.
• Hands-on expertise with Tugboat Logic/OneTrust—this is a required skill.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 standards, controls, and audit requirements.
• Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
• US based contractor with availability to work remotely.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
