- Acceptance testing (IAT) for platform software version upgrades/patches and system component servers deployed to test and production environments in order to verify the required features/scenarios and the overall readiness of the product. Discovering and reporting any related defects timely and precisely, following/aiding the solution phase by the means of troubleshooting and log tracing. Regression testing of the defects.
- Acceptance testing (UAT) to showcase platform version upgrades/patches and system component servers deployed to test and production environments to the customer in order to get their acceptance of the product. Relaying any comment or request made by the customer during the UAT phase to the related parties clearly for appropriate action to be taken. Reporting any defects found timely and precisely, following/aiding the solution phase by the means of troubleshooting and log tracing. Regression testing of the defects with the customer.
- Testing using OTT applications and IPTV clients provided by the customer during both IAT & UAT phases for verification of the newly deployed platform software version upgrades/patches and system component servers.
- And clarifying new test scenarios internally with responsible parties to form new testing procedures that fit the tasks. Outputting test procedure and knowledge sharing documents for future use by the project members.
- FRS and other similar specification documents to write, modify, and update test cases that match the quality requirements of the projects.
- Test support during night operations for software and/or servers to be taken live and verifying the service works as expected.
- Service check and configuration verification on test and production environments when a specific requirement or scenario occurs.
- Closely with customer, retaining a good communication with them to easily understand their requirements and to ensure the smooth execution of UATs.
- Graduation from related majors (Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering etc.)
- Min. experience 0-2 years.
- Good understanding and knowledge of Unix terminal commands. (Basic operating system know how)
- General knowledge of DB systems and SQL commands.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as SoapUI, JMeter.
- Basic server network operation knowledge, familiarity with eth/bond structures & operations, network routes, whitelist/blacklist implementation.
