Mission/purpose of the role
Based on business, operational, or regulatory requirements and with respect for resources and timing, you will lead the implementation and maintenance of technical solutions. You will have an end-to-end responsibility for taking all the appropriate actions to ensure service continuity and quality for our internal, B2C and B2B customers.
As an IP/Network Engineer, sometimes you will be working on night duty.
Your responsibilities:
- Implement technical solutions (equipment, functions, services…) and ensure their proper capacity / dimensioning in collaboration with other engineers.
- Generate methods, procedure, and technical documents regarding technical solutions.
- Contribute to operations and maintenance (including on-call duty) as level 3 support on the core domain, with respect to monitoring, incident, and change management processes.
- Analyse performance statistics/indicators, network behaviour, operational processes, tools, and service architectures; identify gaps, problems and risks and make recommendations on improvement opportunities.
- Represents the operational point of view in non cross-functional projects
Your profile:
- 2 years of experience in the mobile core domain
- Analytical skills including data collection and analysing, reporting, problem handling etc.
- Capable of finding and processing technical documentation and data
- Experience with remote operation teams
- Communication and negotiation skills, team player
- Fluent French, good level of English
