iOS Software Engineer | Connect IQ Team

Your role would be to develop and design iOS applications using Swift, iOS SDK, Xcode, and OOP, following best practices and using standard development tools.

We are currently looking for an engineer to join us for the following project:

Connect IQ: Our team develops software solutions for the Connect IQ product, which is a platform that allows third-party developers to create apps that can be used by everyday users to customize Garmin devices by downloading watch faces, apps, or data fields. 

We believe that collaboration leads to the best ideas, and we rely heavily on team interaction. As a role based in Cluj-Napoca, this position will require 5 days in the office each week. 

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for iOS platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development.

• Good knowledge of SwiftUI + UIKit, Modern Concurrency, Modular app, working with SPM modules, MVVM and Router navigation
• Minimum 5 years of experience in iOS development.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, enthusiasm, strong work ethic.
• Process-oriented with deep attention to details and ability to work both independently and as a member of a small team for problem solving and solution development.
• BSc in Computer Science, IT or similar.
• Proficiency in English.

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Bluetooth, Combine and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
