The Mobile Software Engineer is a key member of Scrum/Development team and will be responsible for developing a robust mobile application running on iOS by leveraging existing/new technologies. How You'll Create Possibilities
- Design and develop iOS mobile apps for appliances.
- Ensure Software Development Process is followed, and appropriate documentation produced.
- Work in a cross-functional team to architect full end-to-end smart appliance solutions and meet program delivery commitment.
- Improve and maintain mobile apps already released in the market.
- Design and build strong testing infrastructure to maximize reliability.
- Work closely with platform leaders, product line design teams, industrial designers, and web teams to define new feature rich applications.
- Manage outputs of 3rd party software development.
- Investigate new technology, develop POC (proof of concept) for the innovative items.
- Generate IP for the appliances.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years iOS mobile application development experience
- Knowledge of Apple operating system fundamentals
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Proficient in Objective-C, Swift and flutter
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and WebSocket
- Experience in UX/UI development using Figma
- Deep understanding of design patterns and architecture (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture)
- Experience with formal software development process (such as Agile)
- Knowledgeable of theory and use of Test-driven development (TDD)
- Experience in ticket-based project development and maintenance, using platforms such as Github, Zenhub
- Experience in collaboration using Git (Git-Flow).
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration
- Open-mindedness to new technologies and trends (Reactive Programming, Flutter, Stage Management - BLoC)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Korean & English)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Google Flutter application development
- Knowledge of responsive app design principles
- Strong project planning and project leadership skills experience
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Experience working with a global software development team
- Experience using simulators and software analysis tools
- Experience with Automation Testing
