We are looking for…

Cavista Technologies is seeking an experienced, innovative iOS Engineer II, passionate about building secure, scalable, user-centric mobile financial solutions. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications that support digital banking, payments, and other financial services. Working closely with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will support the technical direction of our mobile platform while ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
 

What will you do…

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance iOS applications that support digital financial products, including payments, banking, lending, savings, and investment solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and compliance teams to deliver seamless and customer-centric mobile experiences.
  • Build and enhance mobile applications using Swift and modern iOS frameworks, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Develop intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that simplify complex financial processes and improve customer engagement.
  • Integrate iOS applications with RESTful APIs, payment gateways, financial services platforms, and third-party solutions.
  • Implement robust security controls, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure data storage to protect customer information and financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational security policies related to financial services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, production incidents, and performance issues while minimizing customer impact.
  • Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing frameworks to ensure application quality and stability.
  • Contribute to mobile architecture decisions, technical design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay informed on emerging iOS technologies, FinTech trends, security practices, and Apple platform updates to drive innovation.

Qualifications

What you bring...

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of FinTech Experience 
  • Strong proficiency in Swift, iOS SDK, and native iOS development.
  • Experience with mobile application architecture and design patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
  • Knowledge of FinTech products, payment systems, and digital wallet integrations.
  • Expertise in secure coding, authentication, and mobile security best practices.
  • Strong skills in API integration and backend service connectivity.
  • Ability to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, App Store releases, and regulatory compliance requirements.

 

REGULATORY CONSIDERATIONS

  • Implements mobile-application controls aligned with PCI-DSS mobile-payment requirements.
  • Ensures app data handling and permissions comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.
