Bozzuto is seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to join its project finance and capital markets team. The Investor Relations Associate will serve as a critical liaison to investors in Bozzuto’s equity investment vehicles, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Acquisitions, Asset Management, and Private Equity. This team member will work directly with senior executives to manage capital relationships throughout their life cycle, from fundraising and onboarding to ongoing investor reporting.
As an Investor Relations Associate, your primary responsibilities include:
- Draft, produce and disseminate timely communications to investors, leveraging and synthesizing information from Bozzuto’s acquisitions, development and asset management teams.
- Manage, organize and ensure data quality of investor portal and databases.
- Prepare and coordinate capital calls and distributions.
- Organize timely responses to investor requests for financial and operational information.
- Assist in onboarding investors to new and existing platforms, including detailed review of investment vehicle organizational documents and subscription agreements.
- Assist in preparation of materials to support capital raising efforts.
- Lead planning of investor events.
- Coordinate with accounting, tax and legal professionals on investor and capital raising matters.
- Explore opportunities to improve efficiency of processes across Bozzuto’s investor relations function.
- Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, marketing and/or communications with 3+ years of professional experience. Graduate degree and previous employment in investor relations, fundraising, fund management and/or commercial real estate role highly preferred.
- Outstanding attention to detail, work ethic and professional integrity.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to effectively summarize information and clearly, logically, and concisely articulate an argument along with supporting rationale. Submission of writing sample required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Juniper Square or other investor portal highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills. Working knowledge of real estate capital structures required preferred.
