Seeking an Investments & Strategy Summer Intern to support research, sourcing, and diligence across emerging technology sectors. The role will focus on evaluating new investment opportunities, conducting market mapping, and assessing company differentiation and market potential, with an emphasis on leveraging AI tools to enhance research and analysis.Key Responsibilities
- Technology & Market Research: Analyze emerging technology areas, key trends, and evolving competitive landscapes
- Market Mapping: Build structured views of sectors, including key players, value chains, and whitespace opportunities
- Company Evaluation: Assess product differentiation, technical advantages, business models, and market opportunity (TAM, growth drivers)
- Deal Sourcing: Identify and track high-potential startups; support development of investment pipeline
- Financial & Strategic Analysis: Review company metrics, unit economics, and comparable benchmarks
- AI-Driven Research & Reporting: Use AI tools to accelerate research, synthesize insights, and generate clear internal reports
- Internal Materials & Outreach: Support preparation of investment memos and assist with founder/ecosystem outreach as needed
- Strong interest in venture investing, strategy, and emerging technologies
- Ability to think critically about market opportunity and competitive differentiation
- Familiarity or interest in using AI tools for research and productivity
- Solid analytical and structured problem-solving skills

US-California-Palo AltoThe expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $24.81 to $42.70 per hour. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position will be eligible for 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked and up to 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
