We are looking for an Investment Product Analyst (IPA) to join the Emerging Markets (EM) Product team in London. You will support Investment Directors and the wider EM Investment team with product management across individual strategies, helping to ensure our investment materials, data, and message are accurate, compelling and consistently positioned.
You will be naturally organised and detail-focused, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and confident working with colleagues across investment, distribution and other internal partners. An interest in emerging markets, sustainability and the asset management industry is important, alongside strong written communication and analytical skills.

The team
As an IPA, you will help communicate and position our product range effectively across a broad set of stakeholders, upholding high standards across all investment product materials.
The EM Equity Investment team comprises around 52 experienced investment professionals located across London, NY, Sao Paulo, Dubai and Asia, managing around $59.3 billion across 9 strategies for institutional and intermediary clients globally.
The successful candidate will join a team of 4 IPAs supporting two EM Investment Directors (London & NY) and the wider EM Investment team.
What you'll do
As an Investment Product Analyst, you will act as the link between the investment and client‑facing teams, helping to communicate and position our product range effectively by producing high quality product materials and product analysis used by Investment Directors, Investment teams and Client Group teams in their communications with existing and prospective clients. In doing so, you will help uphold high standards across all investment product material, supporting existing clients, driving new business opportunities, and contributing to the evolution of the team’s product offering
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, proactive and detail orientated and can prioritise and manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment, working both collaboratively and independently.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparation of high-quality client material – including presentations, new-business pitch decks, client reports and marketing collateral, liaising with the Investment Directors, Investment team and internal partners
Support business growth and servicing of existing clients by responding to product and portfolio-related queries promptly and accurately, drawing on the investment teams as needed
Assisting with portfolio and market analysis as required including performance, attribution, risk analytics, macroeconomic data and market trends
Deliver client‑focused RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and ESG questionnaires in partnership with global Business Development teams, to agreed timeframes. This includes writing, maintaining and governing product language and data in RFP/consultant databases
Production of accurate and effective written content to be used in investment commentary, marketing material, RFPs and client requests, ensuring consistency and clarity of product messaging
Maintaining core product data for your coverage area(s), ensuring accuracy across internal systems, sites, databases and platforms, and proactively updating information
Demonstrate a continuous-improvement mindset by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve data quality and deliver efficiencies, including using data manipulation, technology and automation where appropriate.
Involvement with strategic projects and initiatives, such as new product development, product enhancements, competitor analysis and thought leadership as required

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
A strong interest in financial markets, sustainability and the asset management industry (previous exposure beneficial)
Excellent written communication skills and strong quantitative capability
Ability to synthesise information across strategies and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and control, including through the effective use of data and technology.
Strong IT skills essential, including proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Excel & PowerPoint)
An interest in using technology, automation and data tools to improve workflows and create efficiencies. Experience with tools such VBA, SQL and Python or similar would be advantageous.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that’ll help
IMC/CFA/CFA ESG (or equivalent) desirable but not required
Familiarity with tools as FactSet, Aladdin, Refinitiv Workspace, Morningstar/eVestment, Seismic, Qvidian and Tableau would be useful
