We are seeking an experienced Investment Platform & Governance Specialist to help shape and oversee Santander Private Banking Switzerland's investment platform. Working at the intersection of Investments, Front Office, Compliance, Risk and global product teams, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our investment offering remains commercially relevant, operationally robust and fully aligned with the Swiss regulatory framework.

This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to influence the evolution of our investment platform, combining product governance, distribution oversight and commercial insight to enhance client outcomes and support the Bank's strategic growth ambitions.

Success in this role requires hands-on experience within a Swiss private banking or wealth management environment, a strong understanding of FINMA and FinSA requirements, excellent stakeholder management skills, and fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively collaborate across our international organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investment Platform & Product Governance

  • Actively contribute to the functioning of the Product Committee (CLC), ensuring well-prepared proposals and effective decision-making aligned with client needs and commercial priorities.

  • Partner with Investments, Compliance, Risk, Legal and other stakeholders to support efficient product approval processes and the timely launch of investment solutions.

  • Manage the product lifecycle, ensuring the investment platform remains competitive, differentiated and fit for purpose.

  • Support the effective implementation of Product Committee decisions across the investment platform.

  • Maintain governance documentation and product records in line with FINMA, FinSA and internal governance standards.

2. Investment Governance & Distribution Quality

  • Coordinate the Local Investment Forum process and support the communication of the Bank's investment views across the organization.

  • Promote consistency between strategic asset allocation, approved investment solutions and client portfolio implementation.

  • Monitor execution of key investment decisions and follow-up actions.

  • Support initiatives that strengthen advisory quality and consistent investment practices across Advisory, AIS, DPM and Alternative Investments.

3. Commercial Effectiveness & Platform Development

  • Monitor product penetration, client adoption and revenue trends to identify opportunities for improving the investment platform.

  • Develop insights that support product positioning, commercial priorities and client outcomes.

  • Coordinate structured communication to Front Office teams, including investment themes, product updates and rating changes.

  • Prepare management reporting and strategic analyses for the CIO.

4. Regulatory & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with the Global CIO to ensure consistency between global investment frameworks and Swiss regulatory requirements.

  • Partner with Compliance and Risk to ensure governance frameworks effectively balance regulatory requirements with commercial objectives.

  • Support the integration of suitability, product governance and conflict-of-interest frameworks within advisory and distribution processes.

  • Translate regulatory developments into practical and business-oriented solutions.

Profile

  • 7–10 years of relevant experience within Product Management, Investment Governance, Investment Advisory or Portfolio Management in a Swiss private banking or wealth management environment.

  • Proven experience working within the Swiss regulatory framework, including FINMA, FinSA, product governance and suitability requirements.

  • Experience interacting with Product Committees, Investment Committees and cross-functional governance bodies.

  • Strong commercial mindset, with the ability to balance governance, client outcomes and business objectives.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across Front Office, Investments, Compliance, Risk and global teams.

  • Highly organized, structured and detail-oriented, with strong project coordination skills.

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders.

  • Fluent English and Spanish are essential, given the role's close interaction with stakeholders across Switzerland and the Bank's Spanish-speaking organization. Portuguese and French would be advantageous.

  • CWMA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification would be considered an advantage.
