About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investment Operations Specialist to join their team. This individual will play a vital role in supporting the operations of a fee-only financial services business. The ideal candidate will have experience in investment operations and a strong understanding of back-office processes, with an ability to work collaboratively to ensure the team operates smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day investment operations, including account setup, maintenance, and reconciliation.
- Process client transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with advisors and other team members to address operational needs and ensure timely execution of tasks.
- Support the preparation and processing of account paperwork and client onboarding.
- Assist with fee billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
- Maintain and update the CRM system with relevant client and account information.
- Work to enhance operational efficiencies and improve existing workflows.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in investment operations or a similar role.
- Series 7 license is preferred or willingness to obtain it within a defined timeframe.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and CRM systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $70,000 - $85,000
- Bonus opportunity: $5,000 - $10,000
