The role will be based in Fort Lauderdale, FL with the expectation of a hybrid work model.
PineBridge Investments is actively seeking a motivated and meticulous Investment Operations Associate to join our esteemed Middle Office group. In this critical role, you will play an integral part in supporting our Fixed Income, Equity, and Multi-Asset Teams. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Investment Operations, you will give to the seamless execution of day-to-day investment operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Trade Execution & Settlement Support
Provide essential support for trade execution and settlement processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in close coordination with portfolio managers and traders. - Stakeholder Communication & Issue Resolution
Serve as a key point of contact for internal teams, clients, and brokers, proactively addressing and resolving operational issues to minimize client exposure and maintain service excellence. - Data Management & Reconciliation
Oversee data integrity across financial transactions and reporting through meticulous reconciliation and data management practices. - Oversight of Outsourced Middle Office (State Street IMS)
Lead and manage the relationship with the outsourced Middle Office provider, overseeing trade settlements, reconciliations, onboarding, and corporate actions. - Derivatives Onboarding & Support
Collaborate cross-functionally to support onboarding and operational workflows for derivatives products including Futures, FX Forwards, Total Return Swaps, and Options. - Process Optimization
Continuously evaluate and enhance operational procedures to drive efficiency and scalability. - Escalation Management
Act as the primary escalation point for all operational queries, ensuring prompt and effective resolution to uphold operational integrity. - Daily Cash Reporting
Generate and distribute daily cash projection reports to the Investment Team, delivering timely and accurate insights for informed decision-making. - Project Management & Process Improvement
Lead and contribute to ad hoc projects aimed at enhancing operational capabilities and driving continuous improvement. - Client Reporting
Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly client reports—including NAV reconciliations, holdings reports, and trade blotters—ensuring precision and alignment with internal and external expectations.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Location Requirement
Must reside in Florida, ideally near the Ft. Lauderdale area, as the role follows a hybrid work model (in-office and remote). - Industry Experience
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in middle office operations or custody middle office functions. - Technical Proficiency
Familiarity with MYSS (My State Street), custody portals, and Bloomberg is advantageous; training will be provided for the right candidate. - Excel Skills
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. - Communication Skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively engage with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. - Adaptability & Time Management
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks efficiently, and meet tight deadlines. - Team Collaboration
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented culture. - Organizational Excellence

*Hourly Rate: $59-$69/hr
