Responsibilities:

Supports development, implementation, and oversight of investment guidelines and compliance requirements

Supports the development and implementation of the operational risk management infrastructure to manage, measure, monitor, and report aggregate global investment operational risk exposures.

Supports development, implementation, and oversight of order management system investment controls.

Research best practices for investment operations and business activities to control various risks. Gathers and analyzes data from various fund management units and provides improvement recommendations.

Supports the development of technology-based tools and metrics, and performs statistical data analysis to report, monitor, measure, and manage various aspects of fixed income investment operational risk exposures. Presents thorough, clear, and insightful analysis to senior leaders, portfolio managers, and traders.

Utilizes processes, tools, and techniques to evaluate investment operational models. Provides ongoing model validation.

Develops and maintains knowledge of financial markets, quantitative drivers, and general investment themes. Builds an understanding of Vanguard's investment operational risk management functional areas. Incorporates changing business needs into risk analysis.

Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Minimum of two years related work experience.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

SQL and Python proficiency preferred.
-
Aladdin Order Management System experience preferred.
-
CRD/Charles River Order Management System experience preferred.
