About The Position

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Investment Analyst to join our team. This individual will be responsible for firm investment portfolios ensuring overall risk and return objectives align with firm goals. The successful candidate will be ambitious, organized, detail oriented, and analytical as well as have a desire to build both internal and client relationships.

Requirements

You'll Get a Chance To

  • Research, due diligence and monitoring of traditional investment managers, alternative investments, including interval funds, registered investment companies, and private partnerships.
  • Present portfolio recommendations and conduct portfolio reviews with relationship managers and clients
  • Develop custom portfolio implementation plans incorporating financial plan results and clients specific circumstances
  • Assist with creating and monitoring investment line ups for retirement plan clients
  • Help identify technology capable of improving the performance and/or efficiency of investment process
  • Manage relationships with external investment managers and firms
  • Support research on economic and investment trends and present relevant findings to Investment Committee
  • Present investment recommendation/analysis to Investment Committee for discussion
  • Generate written commentary and thought leadership white papers
  • Effectively organize and update investment data and materials

Critical Attributes for Success

  • Understanding of issues associated with individual clients and qualified retirement plans
  • Ability to analyze and interpret economic data and evaluate how it may impact investment returns
  • Detailed understanding of investment products, including individual securities, mutual funds, ETFs, Index fund and alternatives
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively manage simultaneous projects and ensure timely and accurate completion
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of investment industry experience in a research/analyst or similar role
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, emphasis in Finance or Economics preferred
  • Experience in investment strategy, due diligence, risk oversight, product selections and/or client portfolio management roles
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or desire to work towards designation
