We are looking to recruit an individual with passion for the industry into our growing team. This role will be assisting two investment managers managing over £1bn in private client assets. 



The individual will report to the Team’s Head and the other  investment managers and investment assistants on the team. We will provide full training for the role, we work collaboratively to achieve the team’s goals and you will progress as quickly as you learn the varied tasks.


* As your role is central within the team, you will  initially be assisting in general administration roles. These duties are varied daily, but usually consist of answering the phones, preparing PowerPoint presentations, preparing suitability letters and maintenance of suitability affirmations, and assisting in the production of investment proposals.  In addition assisting in monitoring portfolios, and investment performance.  You will be required to assist in the distribution of ongoing client reporting.

* You will be working closely with our clients and their agents to provide the best service with information and reports regarding their portfolio, which necessitates close relationship building with our stakeholders whether that be internally or externally. You will therefore need to have a pleasant and personable manner, able to get on with a variety of clients and have a keen eye for detail.

* You should be comfortable writing and responding to emails and letters as well as talking to clients on the phone.

* There is scope to take professional exams,  and ultimately,  once sufficient experience and qualifications are satisfied to get involved in the investment of portfolios, and hence there is a potential pathway to a trainee investment manager role.

* To be successful in this role you will be an independent worker and thinker.

* You have an interest in financial services or have a good understanding of our financial services where you can utilise your knowledge and experience within investment management.

* An interest in markets and portfolio management would be preferable.

* A good level of communication skills is required.

* A good level of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required
