We are seeking an engineer to lead the design, development, and evaluation of inverters, a core component of the electric propulsion system for next-generation eVTOL. This role offers significant autonomy and opportunities to collaborate with suppliers and address project challenges proactively.
Key Responsibilities- Design and development of motor control systems, inverter circuits, and motor control circuit systems
- Define and optimize design specifications to meet system requirements
- Serve as the technical interface with suppliers and manage their progress
- Support suppliers in resolving technical challenges
- Collaborate across teams to address cross-functional issues
- Develop test plans for ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) systems
- Analyze test results and propose and implement improvements
- Work closely with team leaders, members, and other departments to drive project progress
- Play a central role in the development of next-generation aviation technology
- Work in a global environment with opportunities to collaborate with a multinational team
- Experience the forefront of technological innovation, shaping the future of the industry
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and developing ESCs or inverters in the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in English sufficient for professional communication.
- Familiarity with aviation standards such as RTCA DO-254 and DO-160
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or electromagnetic analysis tools
- Previous involvement in electric aircraft or eVTOL projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of power electronics
- Broad experience in motor control systems, inverter circuit design, and motor control circuit design
- Experience in supplier management or coordination
- Development experience within a global team
- Someone who can flexibly incorporate others’ opinions and ideas while striving to achieve objectives.
- A proactive thinker capable of advancing tasks with confirmation and guidance from their supervisor.
- An individual with experience negotiating and coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.

- Probationary period: 3~6 month
Place of Employment
- Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefecture
- Measures to Prevent Secondhand Smoke: Smoking Room Provided
- Scope of Change: Places determined by the Company (including places where telework is performed)
- Flextime or Discretionary labor system
- In the case of flextime: No core time
- Discretionary Labor System: Specialized Class Deemed working hours per day: 10 hours
- Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00(Including 1hour break time)
- Overtime Work: Available
- 115 days off per year(Saturday / Sundays / Newyear holidays(12/29~1/3) / Company designated holidays)
- Annual paid leave
- Refresh leave (Granted after 1, 3, 4, 5 years of service)
- Estimated Annual Salary: JPY 8,000,000 - JPY 13,000,000
- Additional overtime pay will be provided for hours exceeding the fixed overtime.
