This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and end users to support and evolve a modern intranet platform built on Microsoft SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365. We are seeking a customer-focused professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The Intranet Specialist supports the development, maintenance, governance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s intranet and digital workplace platforms. This role focuses on hands-on execution, end-user support, content management, and governance adherence to ensure a consistent, engaging, and high-quality user experience.

Key Responsibilities
SharePoint Administration & Content Management
  • Build, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, pages, libraries, lists, and web parts using established standards and best practices.
  • Support the creation, publishing, and maintenance of intranet content across business functions.
  • Ensure content is organized, accurate, current, and aligned with organizational standards.
  • Assist with migration efforts from legacy platforms to modern SharePoint Online environments.
User Support & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Provide day-to-day support to site owners, content contributors, and business users.
  • Troubleshoot SharePoint-related issues and respond to user inquiries.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Promote effective use of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
Governance & Quality Assurance
  • Conduct governance and quality reviews to ensure compliance with established policies and standards.
  • Support site lifecycle management, permissions reviews, and content governance processes.
  • Assist in maintaining governance related to SharePoint site ownership, Microsoft Teams administration, and content management practices.
  • Monitor adherence to organizational branding, accessibility, and usability guidelines.
Training & Adoption
  • Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and knowledge articles.
  • Deliver training sessions and support adoption initiatives for SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Promote best practices for content creation, information architecture, and user engagement.
  • Gather user feedback and recommend enhancements to improve the overall digital workplace experience.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve intranet functionality, usability, and user satisfaction.
  • Support ongoing digital workplace initiatives involving Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Stay current on emerging Microsoft capabilities, including Power Platform and AI-enabled solutions.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience supporting SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, including sites, pages, libraries, lists, permissions, and web parts.
  • Experience supporting end users and business stakeholders in a professional environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated customer-service mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality support.
Preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams administration and governance.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Copilot or other AI-enabled productivity tools.
  • Understanding of content governance, intranet best practices, and information architecture.
  • Experience supporting intranet modernization or migration projects.

Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree, preferred

·       2–5 years of experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 applications

·       Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SharePoint Online, including sites, pages, libraries, and web parts

·       Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is a plus

·       Awareness of Microsoft Copilot or other AI-enabled tools in the M365 ecosystem preferred

·       Strong customer service orientation with the ability to effectively support attorneys and business stakeholders

·       Ability to manage work to high quality standards with strong attention to detail

·       Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requests, and meet deadlines

·       Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally at all levels of the firm

·       Ability to work independently within defined processes and escalate appropriately when needed

·       Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies




Skills Required
