Mailchimp designed our 12 week paid internship program to help students grow their skillset, create lasting connections, and do meaningful work. Along with helping our interns grow professionally, we're also committed to their personal growth and provide various soft skill classes while also hosting fun events along the way!

Our program is open to students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, bootcamp, and online courses - all candidates must be enrolled through the duration of the program.

Start Dates: May 16th & June 13th

The Talent Development team is looking for an intern to support and contribute to the success of various talent development initiatives. The TD team works across the organization to enable and empower employees to make meaningful business impact with their work. We do this by creating programs and processes that enable the organization to better understand, engage, and retain our talent. We also help our employees pursue growth within the organization, equipping them with opportunities to pursue development that supports both their personal and professional goals. 

The ideal candidate listens hard, is highly observant and highly organized, communicative, and curious. We value creative, self-driven individuals who care about the work they produce and the people they work with. You should be comfortable learning while also working with all teams across the Mailchimp organization.

What you'll do here: 

  • Work closely with team and enterprise partners and stakeholders on talent development initiatives that will strengthen Mailchimp’s culture, support high performing talent, and drive strategic excellence
  • Organize, and synthesize qualitative data as it relates to talent development initiatives
  • Monitor and maintain assigned project deliverables and keep status against project plans
  • Collaborate on the design and delivery of resources, collateral materials, and programs
  • Use metrics to measure the success initiatives, and other deliverables
  • Complete status updates to inform project teams and stakeholders of how projects are progressing based on estimated delivery timeframes

We'd love to hear from you if: 

  • Interested in how talent management processes and organizational learning frameworks are designed, executed, operationalized, scaled, and measured
  • Somewhat experienced with project management—managing multiple competing priorities and duties in a fast-paced, outcome-driven, time-critical, rapidly changing environment
  • Highly organized, thorough, and enjoy keeping track of a lot of information 
  • Strong written and interpersonal communicator
  • Tech-savvy, or at least adventurous when it comes to taking on a technological challenge 
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and high change
  • Working towards a degree or have relevant work experience in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or Psychology (or related field)
