Job Description

A challenging position protecting our nation's networks and information systems awaits you! This position provides hands-on experience supporting the information technology team providing critical maintenance for the software development and ancillary laboratory environments supporting the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. C2BMC is the integrating element of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). The position includes the following responsibilities:
- Support the IT team in the maintenance of hardware, software and other IT resources
- Assist with IT troubleshooting issues and provide technical support as needed
- Assist with IT resource, cybersecurity, and data management activities

Basic Qualifications

*****MUST have an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE*****
Experience with any of the following Information Technology disciplines; operating systems; Windows, Linux and/or Unix; hardware and software systems, software development, application development, data management, cybersecurity and network administration.

Must have taken Information Technology courses, and/or formal education/certification courses within the Information Technology disciplines

Desired skills

- Completion of 8570 IAT II certification I.E. Security+
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Strong ability to work efficiently within a team environment
- Understanding of the Agile processes

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
