CyberCube is looking to hire multiple interns to join our Engineering team for the Summer 2022 intern program. We're looking for candidates who are self-starters with intellectual curiosity, willingness to learn new skills, and someone who will be excited to work on projects that are transforming an industry! Having an interest in cyber security would be a plus, but not a requirement to apply.

The Summer Internship program will run from June through August and is a paid-internship. With the significant growth plans CyberCube has, we will be able to offer intern to full-time positions for some of the roles; based on individual performance.

As a part of our Engineering Team, you can expect to work on projects like:

• Helping to restructure our application code and make it scalable using containers and scalable data sources
• Own UI components for redesign and API/path changes with the opportunity to work with UX and Infrastructure teams
• Integrating different AWS services with Datadog, create dashboards, create alerts and do integration with PagerDuty for alert notification
• Write Playbooks for auto correcting the alerts
• Modularize the code according to object-oriented principles
• Build out AWS Config-based lambda functions that identify misconfigured resources in our environment

Some of the skills you could gain while interning at CyberCube would be:

• Learn basic cloud architecture
• Learn how to use the AWS Python SDK
• Learn how security controls are monitored and remediated
• Gain experience in developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code.
• Hone your code development skills
• Gain an understanding of common security principles and better understand common enterprise security processes
• Gain experience with observability of SRE
• Be part of an agile environment working closely with other teams in day-to-day tasks and projects

Experience with any of these technologies are preferred:

• Python

• MySQL
• Any NoSQL database
• Git
