Mailchimp designed our 12 week paid internship program to help students grow their skillset, create lasting connections, and do meaningful work. Along with helping our interns grow professionally, we're also committed to their personal growth and provide various soft skill classes while also hosting fun events along the way!

Our program is open to students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, bootcamp, and online courses - all candidates must be enrolled through the duration of the program.

This role is based in Georgia and any candidates who accept an offer for this position is expected to reside in the state of Georgia throughout the duration of the internship.

Start Dates: May 16th & June13th

What you’ll do:

As part of the Marketing and Customer Experience (CX) Analytics team, you will leverage marketing & user data to help the company better understand our customers’ needs and behaviors and identify opportunities to improve our marketing and CX strategy. We support marketing with analytics focused on campaign effectiveness, on-site and in-app behavior, user trends, ROI optimization, and experience optimization. We want your help designing, analyzing, and sharing our findings! In support of broader company objectives, you will have an opportunity to collaborate with analysts across our team, as well as others in Strategy, Marketing, Product, and Design.

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

  • Keenly observant and able to synthesize information to tell a compelling narrative
  • Experience working in SQL
  • Comfortable manipulating, organizing, and analyzing large data sets
  • An excellent collaborator, but also comfortable working independently when needed
  • An analytical thinker who can synthesize various data sources into a succinct story
  • A good listener that is curious, humble, and willing to learn
  • Resourceful and able to hunt down information and evaluate sources for quality
  • Organized, thorough, and enjoy keeping track of a lot of information 
  • Bonus points for experience in any of the following:
    • Working with data in Excel / Tableau / R / Python
    • Google Analytics
    • Data visualization tools
    • Statistical modeling techniques
