Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The IT department is searching for a self-directed IT intern with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. You will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with IT staff.

Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
• Assisting with troubleshooting issues and providing technical support
• Setting up new workplace environments and performing software installations
• Supporting the IT Manager with operating and maintaining the site IT infrastructure, e.g., the Local Area Network, the server, storage and backup environment
• Organizing and maintaining IT resources
• Documenting work order solutions in Help Desk
• Sharing knowledge within and across local IT and participating in meetings
• Other duties as assigned

What You Need to Succeed

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Information Science or related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Willingness to learn, study and train
• Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Basic understanding of Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic understanding of networking related technologies such as switching, routing, DHCP, LAN, WAN and network troubleshooting skill.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team to accomplish assigned tasks on time
