Position overview:

The intern role as an Integrated Materials Management (IMM) analyst is an opportunity to learn contribute to the success of the IMM service offering for Interiors. The individual will support IMM program managers and the Interiors Services & Support (ISS) team by learning tools and improving the connection between customer forecasts and internal demand signals in the ERP system. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset; able to analyze information, identify problems and trends, and find ways to solve complex problems.

Key activities:

  • Working cross functionally throughout ISS to ensure customer needs, requirements and deadlines are achieved.
  • Receive, analyze, and report on diverse customer data sets, including converting forward-looking maintenance schedules into recommended stocking levels.
  • Track performance of programs through the use of metrics and report to both internal management and external customer.
  • Analyze usage data and sales history to identify additional items to expand range of items offered through Integrated Materials Management service offerings.
  • Aid in the design and development of tools and process such as stocking models, Provisioning Lists, Maintenance Kits and Cost of Ownership models etc to ensure that program deliverables are met and maintained.
  • Working within the Integrated Materials Management team to help deliver team strategic goals.
  • Developing processes and tools to enable the Integrated Materials Management function to move to continue offering enhanced service levels to prioritized customers.
  • Be the key focal point for all data feeds related to assigned programs, including active install base, historical and projected sales, and commercial issues -- ensuring satisfactory resolution where required
  • Developing strong customer relationships and networks within customer organizations.
  • Lead / support internal and external program reviews as necessary.
  • Attend internal and customer review meetings as necessary.
  • Track financial performance of program looking for opportunities to improve gross margin.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business processes
  • Execute allocated Key Business Objectives in timely manner.
  • Perform other duties that are required by departmental procedures.


Required skills:

  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • MS Access - familiar
  • JDE - proficient
  • Preferred, not required:
    • Familiar with Aftermarket business model and MRO/maintenance events
    • Technical knowledge of ISS products
    • SAP knowledge
    • Data visualization software: Tableau, PowerBI, etc


Basic Qualifications

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
