The primary duties and responsibilities will be defined as needed by the functional area where the incumbent is located.

Job Description

• Support the communications team dedicated to the Human Resources and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion organizations at AmerisourceBergen, both of which are undergoing transformational programming and projects in 2022.
• Develop and create effective copy and material for a variety of channels (intranet, newsletters, town halls, etc.) to drive engagement in support of communication goals.
• Partner with stakeholders in HR, communications, marketing, and a variety of corporate functions to develop thoughtful, compelling content for our employee population about our learning program, benefits, employee survey, performance management approach, and more.
• Partner in the creation of enterprise communications process and plans, with a focus on establishing our global translation approach.
• Promote our diversity, equality, and inclusion efforts by supporting execution of the DEI communications plan.
• Assist in the development and creation of a quarterly enterprise communications dashboard.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What your background should look like

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Currently enrolled in undergraduate school with an upcoming completion of a bachelor's degree. Must be able to work 10-20 hours per week while completing degree.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Good project management skills

Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills

Good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions

Must be eager to learn, self-motivated, flexible, accountable and can effectively handle multiple tasks at one time

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Knowledge of computers to operative effectively with PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook
