For decades, the consumer side of those conversations sucked: long queues, robotic menus, repeated explanations, and advice that is often unhelpful. Most people today still cannot simply say what their problem is in natural language when communicating with businesses.
AI changes that. For the first time, companies can have natural conversations with customers at massive scale. Every B2C company - from energy providers to telcos to insurers - will use AI agents to talk to their customers. The number of conversations businesses will handle is going to explode in the coming years.
At telli, we are solving the challenges that come with that shift. Today, leading B2C companies like Sky are already using telli to deploy thousands of voice agents to provide their customers with a new experience. But building a first voice agent is easy, getting it to drive real outcomes for customers and businesses is the hard part. telli helps companies build, deploy, and improve consumer-facing AI voice agents at scale. This will become one of the most important software categories of the next decade, and we intend to win it.
We are a small, AI-pilled team that likes to solve hard problems. Be it engineering, product, or GTM - we build, experiment, and move fast, while heavily leveraging the capabilities of AI models. All of us like to challenge ourselves and take real ownership over what we do, all while still staying humble and keeping a low-ego culture.

As the Strategy & BizOps Intern at telli, you'll work right alongside the founding team across finance, legal, ops, and special projects. You'll have a front-row seat to how an early-stage AI company operates and a very hands-on role in keeping things running and moving fast.
what you’ll do:help us build the operational backbone behind telli's growth
take on special projects, driving initiatives forward by coordinating stakeholders and keeping everything on track
support with finance operations by maintaining reports, chasing invoices, and managing payment flow
help the growth team close new customers by managing legal and compliance processes
support with our hiring pipeline, from screening candidates to scheduling interviews
help plan and execute internal and external events and keep the office running smoothly
work closely with Ennie and Philipp
you are hands-on and not afraid of doing unglamorous work
you're tech- & automation savvy and can learn new tools fast
you love solving problems and figuring things out on your own
you’re a strong communicator in both English and German
you’ve have initial (internship) experience and/or worked on side hustles or projects
you're done or at the end of university and could imagine starting full-time after the internship
you have never touched automation/AI tools or don’t have basic technical understanding
you only want to do high-level “strategic” work
you aren’t comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once
you don’t enjoy working directly with customers or in dynamic environments
you’re only looking for a typical 9–5 internship
Skills Required
- Strong communication skills in English and German
- Initial internship experience and/or experience with side hustles or projects
- Basic technical understanding and familiarity with automation or AI tools
- Hands-on problem-solving ability and willingness to handle unglamorous work
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Completed or nearly completed university education
- Comfort working directly with customers
