What you will be learning
As an intern at Omise, you will work closely with your assigned team and contribute to real projects that impact the business. You will gain practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to the fintech industry while developing your professional skills.
Depending on the role, your learning scope may include:
AI Design Systems Engineer Intern
- Figma Architecture: Manage the "Mint" Design System using advanced Figma features like Variables and Auto Layout with a developer’s mindset.
- AI Documentation: Write clear, structured guidelines (design.md) that help both humans and AI models understand how to use components correctly.
- AI Research: Experiment with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI tools like Cursor or Claude to automate design-to-code workflows.
- Design-to Code Sync: Ensure Figma components match production code, focusing on Design Tokens and modern UI libraries like Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui.
Solution Architect Intern
- System & Solution Design: How to structure client problems into actionable technical solutions while evaluating trade-offs.
- API Integrations: Deep dive into REST APIs, request/response flows, authentication patterns, and integration documentation.
- Business-to-Tech Translation: How to effectively gather business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical scopes.
- Professional Delivery: Shadowing client calls, managing implementations, drafting solution briefs, and delivering presentations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Partnerships Intern
- Support, enable, and drive the strategic partnership process and team.
- Execute and manage the partnership administrative tasks to ensure seamless onboarding completion
- Exploring business initiatives and processes in order to help sales run effectively, efficiently, and in support of business strategies and objectives.
- Coordinate with partners in collecting, preparing, and filing required documents and information for KYC and business-related processes
- Track and analyze key metrics (conversion rates, revenue growth, pipeline health).
QA Engineer Intern
- Collaborate with the QA team to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify and document software defects.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Execute functional, regression, and performance tests on various software applications.
Technical Solutions Intern / Solutions Analyst Intern
- Learn business communication and customer requirement analysis
- Gain knowledge of Omise products, payment solutions, and platform integration
- Support business development, partner relationships, and product demonstrations
- Gather customer feedback to support product improvements
- Collaborate across teams to solve business and operational issues
- Use AI tools to assist with documentation, reporting, and workflow automation
- Support requirement documentation, feature ticket creation, and reporting processes

- Currently a 3rd or 4th year student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Passionate about technology, fintech, and innovation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Able to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities
Additional qualifications based on the role
AI Design Systems Engineer Intern:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Proficient in Figma with organized layers and reusable components.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS; familiarity with shadcn/ui is a plus.
- Able to build scalable, developer-friendly design systems.
- Interested in AI tools, modern web trends, and problem-solving between design and code.
Solution Architect Intern:
- Currently a 3rd or 4th year student studying degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, MIS, or related field (candidates from any faculty are welcome if they demonstrate strong technical aptitude).
- Basic Coding Skills: Ability to read and write simple scripts or integration samples.
- Core API Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of how APIs work.
- Strong Communicator: Ability to present clearly, ask the right questions, and handle Q&A in a professional setting.
- Business Sense: A basic understanding of business operations and pain points.
Partnerships Intern:
- Currently student studying in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Pleasant personality, good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently across functions to deliver against deadlines.
- Be able to understand and explain some complex processes of related documentation and regulations
- Be able to communicate complex data to various groups of people
QA Engineer Intern:
- Currently student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Golang, Java, or JavaScript. is a plus.
- Knowledge of web and mobile application testing is desirable.
Technical Solutions Intern / Solutions Analyst Intern
- Interested in solutions consulting, technical consulting, or solution design
- Eager to learn about web services, APIs, and data flows
- Fast learner, self-driven, and adaptable to new challenges
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work independently
- Good English communication skills, both spoken and written
