Responsibilities
- Familiarize yourself with the IT landscape in Evonik and the responsibilities of Enterprise AI during a 6-month internship.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including backend developers (with a focus on .NET and C#), frontend developers, Python developers, machine learning engineers and product managers, to ensure seamless end-to-end product delivery.
- Assist the team with the implementation of ongoing use cases by providing valuable insights and learning through active participation.
- Contribute to the design, development, and execution of AI-focused IT solutions, ensuring compliance with guidelines and effective data integration.
- Gain expertise in the Microsoft Azure platform and its capabilities in cloud-managed applications, data science, and machine learning.
- Participate in business consulting and project management activities, helping analyze business processes and develop use cases.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C#, and SQL.
- Experience or coursework in machine learning, data science, or related fields.
- Familiarity with backend development frameworks and tools such as .NET and web API development.
- Understanding of software development practices, including Agile methodologies and DevOps principles, with a particular focus on Azure or other cloud computing platforms.
- Knowledge in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD practices.
- Strong proficiency in English.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-regional team.
- Self-driven, initiative, responsibility, and adaptability.
