As an Operations Intern at SITS | Traxion you will support our Operations Team in adapting Identity & Access Management (IAM) processes to the rapid changes connected with the rise of AI. The team supports crucial processes in IAM, such as account lifecycle management, authorization management, request handling, recertifications, incident handling, and monitoring.
THE INTERNSHIP PROJECT: IMPACT OF AI ON IAM SUPPORT ACTIVITIES
With increasing AI solutions, such as generative AI, intelligent automation, anomaly detection, and policy‑based access recommendations, the way IAM support teams perform their work is changing rapidly. These technologies introduce new opportunities for efficiency and security, but also raise questions about governance, responsibilities, and safe implementation.
During this internship, you will research and provide insights into relevant AI technologies and their impact on support processes, security quality, and future role division within SITS | Traxion. You will analyze how AI could interact with existing IAM activities within the team and identify where automation or AI‑assisted processes may add value. With this assignment, you will deliver a roadmap on how to implement AI effectively and safely. You will provide a risk analysis that will serve as a benchmark for our future organizational practices.
This internship gives you the opportunity to combine analytical research, technology evaluation, and practical recommendations while developing a deliverable that has real impact on future organizational operations. With this assignment, you will support the development of forward‑looking service offerings, positioning SITS │ Traxion as an innovator in AI‑enhanced IAM. You will also contribute directly to responsible and transparent AI implementation, ensuring that the use of AI strengthens security and quality of our support processes.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
- Is in their final year of Bachelor (HBO or HBO-ICT) in AI, CSC, BIM, ISM
- Can work independently and in a team
- Contributes to a positive working atmosphere
- Is not afraid to make mistakes, admit them, and learn from them.
- Is analytically strong and able to document in a structured way
- Speaks fluent Dutch and has a good command of English
- Is currently located in the Netherlands and available to work from the office multiple days per week
- Has an interest in gaining further knowledge in the Information Security / IAM domain
