International Sales Executive

A24 is currently seeking a Sales Executive to join our Global Licensing team. This role will focus on Film and TV sales to Broadcasters and VOD Platforms worldwide outside of the US, across our first run and library slates. You should be a motivated self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial mentality and a strategic thinker. This role will be an integral member of a highly collaborative International and Domestic Sales team and develop A24’s international sales and distribution operations. This role can be based out of our New York or London office, with a preference for New York. 

Initial Responsibilities

• Handle sales to broadcasters and platforms across a slate of first runs and library films and TV. Sales responsibilities include pitching, negotiating and closing licensing deals, and managing relationships with broadcasters and platforms, all on specific international territories.
• Track availabilities and anticipate library avails and revenue, identify ancillary opportunities within the A24 slate.
• Work closely with the International and TV teams to evaluate & strategize sales plans for upcoming titles.
• Prepare and attend TV and film markets and festivals, when and where appropriate.
• Coordinate with all internal departments (legal, servicing, marketing, finance, accounting) to ensure efficiency in the whole deal making process.

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 6 years of experience working in TV and film licensing
• Strong international relationships with buyers across all local digital platforms (e.g., SVOD, AVOD, FAST, transactional), cable and broadcast networks
• Expert knowledge of international distribution landscape across all non-theatrical media, long-term experience in dealing with distribution negotiations and contracts
• Excellent attention to detail with strong abilities in project and data management, time management, organization and forward planning
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Google Workplace is required, experience with FilmTrack and AirTable highly desirable
• Willing to frequently travel internationally
• A passion for film and television

• Fluency in a language other than English or French would be advantageous

Our target salary range for this role is between $110,000 to $135,000. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, including both cash and equity components, competitive healthcare, as well as other employee benefits.
