About the Role
As our Product Counsel, you will be assisting the Legal team with a wide variety of tasks:
- Product counseling on IP, privacy, licensing, open source
- Support launch of new features/products
- Maintain all product-facing legal content
- Contract review of all types of contracts
- Legal operations and automation
- Legal watch various legal topics applied to AI: IP, privacy
About You
- You have strong experience as a product counsel in a fast-paced tech startup, ideally working on developer tools, AI/ML, or open source platforms;
- You have knowledge of US contract law, privacy and IP, and previous experience in contract review and negotiations;
- You thrive in a startup culture: scrappy, proactive, hands-on, collaborative, and solutions-oriented;
- You’ll enjoy working with us if you think strategically but have the capacity to be nimble, pragmatic, and creative to solve problems;
- You will be required to be autonomous, independent, and communicative as these are the keys to succeed in a decentralized organization like ours;
- You are fully proficient in English, both written and spoken, and ideally in French too.
