Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior International Accounting and Control Specialist. You will manage accounting records and prepare internal financial and management reports.
Responsibilities
- Maintain internal accounting records for international entities and reconcile them with the reports prepared by local accountants. Support external audits
- Provide necessary information to local consultants and ensure proper compliance of international entities with local corporate, accounting, and tax obligations, including submission of reports
- Analyze the tax advice received from local accountants
- Plan cash flows and ensure availability of funds for operational payments.
- Perform full accounting in accounting software, including: Fixed assets, payroll, inventory, sales/purchases, cash operations, and expense reports
- Prepare monthly management reports
- Manage intercompany balances and tax invoice tracking
Requirements
- Graduate Degree/ master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or Technical field (ACCA or CAAA is an advantage)
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience
- Excellent knowledge of Armenian, English and Russian
- Good knowledge of Corporate, Income, VAT Tax regulations, IFRS related to reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives within the specified deadline while always maintaining quality
- Planning skills and Research skills (especially in tax and finance)
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team
- Mathematical and analytical thinking
- Ability to set priorities and perform tasks accordingly
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in Armenian, English, and Russian
- Hands-on experience with MS Office and accounting software
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
- Solid understanding of international tax and compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
