Intuitive Machines is seeking an in Intern to join our team in Greenbelt, MD.
Minimum Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as a rising senior (entering final year) in a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, Electrical, Software, or related discipline)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (required for NASA contractor site access)
- Must be available to work on-site in Greenbelt, Maryland for the duration of the internship
- Experience with programming (MATLAB preferred; Simulink/Simscape is a bonus)
- Experience with experimental data collection and analysis
- Understanding of robotics/kinematics
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems, work independently, and take initiative
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creating robot simulations for contact tasks based on mathematical modeling
- Designing experiments and analyze data to validate/improve robot simulations
- Developing methodologies for quick-turn-around robot controller tuning
